offered its own special charms: cozy rooms,
scrumptious breakfasts, a welcoming front porch, and
helpful hosts. It turned out to be a perfect
location to explore both the mid-coast and the quiet
back roads a bit further inland."--Tom & Chris
"What made our stay so
wonderful wasn't just having a bedroom with a view
of the stars while lying in bed, it was the two of
you! How friendly and nice you were."--Phil and Judi
"There is a uniqueness
to the location of this B&B. At Blueberry Fields,
the scenery of the blueberry barrens is totally
different and very rewarding in a quiet and
appealing way. There is a down-to-earth feeling
there, which is restful in itself. Washington,
Maine, is a location that is within easy range of a
number of places one might want to visit in Maine,
so it is a good central spot for a vacation visit."
"You (Deb) and Cyd are
wonderful you make my time there very enjoyable and
relaxing. It's my home away from home. Thank you for
everything you do."--Sharon

Winter 2014 Update!
The holidays are upon us and, as
usual, Debbie is having fun decorating! So many memories with
the decorations acquired over the decades. The cookies are
baking and the inn smells like an old-fashioned Christmas.
We acquired a wine license this
summer, and our guests have been enjoying that with the fine
dining we started in the evenings. The license has opened our
doors to endless possibilities. We had our first, annual Wine &
Cheese Reception to benefit the Good
Shepherd Food Bank. It was well attended and we raised over
$600, enough to provide 2,460 meals to the hungry.
The cold weather came early and the
snow has followed! If you're planning on coming to Maine for the
National Toboggan Championship, the second weekend in
February, be sure to call soon because we are filling up
Cyd's sugar house is all built and
he has his "mule" to help him haul all that great sap out of the
woods to make the sweet, delectable syrup that you will enjoy
with your breakfast. Come on over for Maine Maple Syrup Sunday,
fourth Sunday in March. We would love to share our experience
When you need that little get-a-way
this winter, please be sure to book with us and enjoy the warmth
of our hospitality and mesmerizing glow of the fire. We continue
to be awed by the love we have of this life we have created, and
feel so blessed to have so many wonderful guests to share it
Peace to your hearts and blessings
on your journey, where ever it may take you.

were incredibly friendly and helpful without being
too present. ... Can't recommend it highly enough."
